Turkish Airlines Boeing 727-2f2adv

The sixth plane of Thy fleet project is Boeing 727-200. ý've chosen minicraft's 727. Although it's easy to build, kit has some problems.I'll share all construction stages[/b]

Box and Decals (Two Six Decals)

i started job with fuselage

One of the worst part of the model is canopi. Fitting is ok but there is a little height difference between fuselage and canopi. i prefer tamiya basic type putty to equalize height difference. but you should use epoxi putty.

There are some works on the wings.

i glued fuselage and wings and applied tamiya putty

fan blades was painted with gunze metalizer (burnt iron)

engine intakes were painted with humbrol 56

Ý glued engine parts together.after sanding and puttying, i applied tamiya primer because of metalizer.you know that metallic colors show all mistakes Smile

And some detailing pictures.This stage is really hard but i find easy method. we only need some simple tools:masking tape (blue one) and cutter;
