Bonjour,

Voici ma dernière réalisation, ce P-47D de chez Platz.

La maquette est superbe (voir l'analyse ici : http://fighters.forumactif.com/t49911-platz-republic-p-47d-thunderbolt-bubble-top) comme d'habitude chez cette marque japonaise. Le niveau de détail du cockpit, des trains et des pylônes peut toutefois facilement être amélioré (voir le montage complet là : http://fighters.forumactif.com/t76424-republic-p-47d-thunderbolt).

Histoire d'ajouter un peu de challenge, je me suis lancé dans le détaillage des baies d'armement sur une des ailes, une première pour moi je dois l'avouer...

La peinture aluminium a été réalisée au Rub'n Buff, passé sur une couche de TS-30.

La décoration provient d'une (très belle) planche de décals Kits World.

L'appareil représenté est 'Phyl Darlin', monture du Lt Robert E. Wagner au sein du 510 FS - 405 FG de la 9th Air Force, et basé à Saint-Dizier à l'automne 1944.
