Appareil hérité du Fokker D VII allemand de la Première Guerre Mondiale, il est produit en 1919 sous l'appellation "MAG" du fabricant "Magyar Altalános Gepgyár".
Constructeur automobile avant la guerre, l’entreprise construira différents modèles d’avions dont le Fokker D VII équipé d’un Austro Daimler de 200 ou 225 hp,et armé de mitrailleuses Schwarzlose à canons longs.
