[Trumpeter] 1/32 - Grumman F4F-4 Wildcat
Hello all, I am new here. I apologize for speaking in English, but I only speak German and some Russian but no French. I could use a translator but those are notoriously unreliable and you don't now how it will come out to native language speakers!
I have been on a 10+ year hiatus from modeling and decided to get back to the bench a couple of weeks ago. I blew the dust off the box of the Trumpeter 1/32 F4F-4 Wildcat. At first look the kit looks outstanding but as you start closely inspecting the sprues the shortcomings of the kit become glaringly obvious. The cockpit is junk and so is the firewall. Both will get pitched and scratch built. I have opened the baggage/avionics door on the right side and will scratch build the interior.
I am about 2 weeks into the build so I am not going to repeat everything here to get this post up to date. Instead, I have added a Scale Model page to my photography website. The URL is:
scottmurphyphotography dot org/trumpeter-f4f-4
Enjoy, all comments welcome!

The supports for the avionics platforms, pneumatic accumulator, aux fuel tank and rudder/elevator cables are in. The cables will be pulled taut when all is said and done.

Scott... GOOGLE TRAD, english french is quite good, better than years ago. You can try to use it. We will tell you if they have really made progress or not!ModelMaster a écrit:Hello all, I am new here. I apologize for speaking in English, but I only speak German and some Russian but no French.
